The first day we got there we did our usual thing, unpacking, and setting up camp. Like any boy scout troop the thing that is usually on your mind is food. Instead of eating our usual food we went into town and had some of the best hamburgers, but I’m not quite sure how they tasted, on a campout everything tastes better. The next day was Sunday, so we went to the church in town. It was an extremely small ward. Only about forty members were in their ward. There was only one Deacon, and one Teacher. That day we made a flag pole, and a sign that said Lewis and Clark (the name of our campsite). The next four days went by fast for me. Most of the day we went to our merit badge classes. As a total of merit badges for the troop we earned forty-one badges. During this time we made many camp gadgets. A bench, a ladder, a rack for swimsuits and towels, and a sign with troop eight-six on it. We also made a sign that said Cougars on it. During this time we made friends with the troop next to ours. The food at camp was O.K. I love polar bear, we got to get ice dropped all over us, and then stand in front of a huge fan. Overall we had a great time at camp. It was a huge success. I truly had a great time at camp. I can’t wait till next year.
